Terms of service
Last updated: August 2026
These terms govern the use of CertifiPro by the institutions that issue certificates and by anyone visiting this site. By creating an account or using the service, you accept what follows.
1. The service
CertifiPro is an online service that lets technical training organizations (OTEC in Chile) and educational institutions design certificate templates, issue certificates to their participants, email them, and publish them for verification through a unique code and a QR code on the institution's own domain.
2. Accounts and access
A dashboard account is required to use the service. The institution is responsible for keeping credentials confidential, for deciding who has access, and for keeping the list of authorised people up to date. Tell us if you detect unauthorised use of your account.
3. Learner data
The institution is responsible for the data it uploads about its learners: for its accuracy, for having a legal basis to process it, and for informing the individuals concerned where required. CertifiPro processes that data only to provide the service, in line with theprivacy policy.
The institution also decides what information appears on each certificate's public verification page.
4. Acceptable use
- Do not issue false certificates, or certificates for training that did not take place.
- Do not use the service to infringe third-party rights or applicable law.
- Do not attempt to breach the platform's security or access another institution's data.
We may suspend access in the event of a serious breach, giving notice by email where possible.
5. Content and ownership
The institution retains ownership of its brand, logos, signatures, content and the data it uploads. It grants us only the licence needed to host and display them as part of the service — printing its logo on the certificate and publishing it on the verification page, for example.
CertifiPro retains ownership of the software, the platform design and the base templates we make available. Templates may be used and adapted within the service; they are not licensed for resale or distribution outside it.
6. Availability and early stage
The service is at an early stage of development and is provided"as is", without warranties of uninterrupted availability, freedom from errors, or fitness for a particular purpose. We may change, add or withdraw features; we will give reasonable notice when a change materially affects how the service is used.
7. Plans and payments
Commercial terms (plan, price, period and payment method) are agreed in writing with each institution. Price changes are announced in advance and apply from the following period.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CertifiPro is not liable for indirect damages, loss of profit or loss of data arising from causes beyond its control. Our total liability is limited to the amounts actually paid by the institution in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to it. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be limited under Chilean law.
9. Termination and exit
The institution may terminate the service at any time. Before closing an account we will make its data and issued certificates available for export. We will agree with the institution what happens to public verification links already given to participants.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The "last updated" date appears at the top of this page and, for substantial changes, we will notify institutions with an active account.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Chile. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent ordinary courts of Chile. For anything related to this document, write tocontacto@salaconectada.cl.
12. Language
This English text is provided for convenience. In case of any discrepancy, the Spanish version of these terms prevails.
